L word, G word and Identity

I was watching the L word, in the episode 5 of season one. one guy called lisa identified himself as a lesbian man. This is quite interesting, a physical male, mental female who is physically/emotionally attracted to female. Such a big wow in my poor brain, but I fell in love with this new term. It is not just one word, it is a symbol of the whole outside now defined in a plural and relative way which in deed fascinates me.
